President Maduro expresses support for Colombia in the face of gringo attack

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expressed this Sunday to his Colombian counterpart Gustavo Petro that he has the experience and strength of the Venezuelan people. “Forever we will be together, Colombia and Venezuela in peace and deep dialogue.”

The message was announced by the head of state through a publication on his Telegram channel where he expressed that “united, let us consolidate our independence, let us build the prosperity of our people in Latin America and the Caribbean.”

The publication of the National President was accompanied by a series of messages disseminated by Gustavo Petro on his social networks.

President Maduro’s solidarity with his Colombian counterpart comes after the president of the United States (USA), Donald Trump, ordered this Sunday a series of sanctions against the Government of Colombia in retaliation for the refusal of the Colombian president Gustavo Petro, who banned the entry of US planes with migrants to Colombia.
