Agents from the Naval Prefecture were looking for two people on Friday who remained missing after falling into the waters of the Luján Riverat the height of the Buenos Aires town of San Fernando, after a boat at high speed and with its drunk crew collided with the boat in which they were circulating, also causing injuries to two other people.

The incident occurred on Thursday night, around 8:00 p.m., when the rowing boat with four workers on board was returning down the river from an island in the delta and was collided by a sports boat that was coming at high speed in front of the Canal Surveillance post. San Fernando de Prefectura, sources from the institution told Télam.

As a consequence of the impact, the boat broke apart and two of its occupants were rescued injured by personnel from the Naval Prefecture and transferred to the Petrona de Cordero Hospital, in the town of San Fernando.

The injured are Claudia Verónica Castro, 35, and Sixto Quiroga, 29, while two other workers who were traveling on the boat and remain missing were identified as Martín Castro, 33, and Sergio Duarte, 30.

Naval Prefecture personnel were intensely searching for the disappeared this morning.

While, The drivers of the boat were subjected to a breathalyzer test and tested positive.according to sources from the Naval Prefecture.
