Police resolve 53 cases of missing persons in March-May period

The National Police reported the location of 53 people who had been reported missing in the period from March to May 2022.

According to the police report, these cases that occurred in different locations, the vast majority corresponding to the province of Santo Domingo, predominantly adolescent girls who leave home to live in concubinage, in addition to people suffering from health problems and become disoriented at the moment of return to their homesamong other cases.

It is worth mentioning the case of Dominga Sanchez Tejeda87 years old, who had left her home in the María Auxiliadora sector on April 9 and was found the next day on Las Américas Avenue Boulevard, Santo Domingo Este, with apparent disorientation symptoms.

Similarly, on April 27, the PN was able to locate two girls and a young woman who had been reported missing on March 18.

Thanks to an operation carried out by DICRIM agents, they managed to find the location of the 11 and 13-year-old girls, as well as the 18-year-old girl, who were in a residence living with adults.

Another case is of the retired officer of the National Police, Luis Antonio Gabriel Nunez83 years old, who had been reported missing by his son on Friday, April 29 and located five days later at the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces, admitted receiving care, for which His relatives were alerted.
