A commission of deputies to the National Assembly went to the Republican Moral Council this Tuesday to, in accordance with the provisions of our legal system, notify this body of the installation of the Legislative Power for the period 2025-2026.
The legislative commission was headed by deputy Pedro Carreño, who, in a formal act, delivered to the president of the expression body of Citizen Power, Tarek William Saab, a document containing all the information related to the AN and its board, which It was ratified on January 5.
Likewise, in the aforementioned event, Saab welcomed this activity, while highlighting the democracy and institutionality that exists in our country.
In this sense, he highlighted that Venezuela has 5 powers at the service of the people and a justice system that does not allow actions against the country to go unprosecuted.
“Today I can say that what Venezuela has experienced since 1999, to date, attempted coups d’état, assassinations, assault on military and police barracks, attempted civil war such as the guarimbas, attempted foreign invasions, use of mercenaries, “They have all been defeated and this has given great respect to Venezuela on a global scale,” he noted.
It is important to highlight that this Tuesday, another legislative commission notified the National Electoral Council on the start of the 2025-2026 ordinary session period and the formation of its board of directors.
The commission that notified the Electoral Branch, in compliance with the Constitution, was made up of deputies Giuseppe Alessandrello, José Villarroel, Gustavo Villapol, Katherine Guanipa, José Gregorio Correa, Miguel Salazar and Yobany Blanco.
