SP starts vaccination campaign in public and private schools

The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) asked the Federal Supreme Court (STF) to file a petition filed against President Jair Bolsonaro and Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga in December last year.PGR asks for filing of investigation request linked to vaccination

In the petition, opposition parliamentarians accused the authorities of crimes of malfeasance for the alleged delay in starting the vaccination of children aged 5 to 11 years against covid-19, whose immunization began in January.

In the opinion sent yesterday (5) to the STF, the deputy prosecutor, Lindôra Araújo, states that there is no minimum evidence to justify the opening of an investigation. According to the prosecutor, the facts were analyzed in another investigation request and the demonstration was in the same direction.

“All the reasons for the petitioners’ claim have already been analyzed in the factual news, whose grounds for archiving are reiterated here, with no minimum support of just cause for the outbreak of criminal prosecution”, he justified.
