Miguel Pérez Arroyo, attorney forsaid that his client does remember the moment in which he carried out a coup d’état and that he perfectly understood the message he was reading last Wednesday, when he illegally dissolved Congress.

In this way, the legal representative of Castillo Terrones ruled out the version according to which the president did not remember the moment in which he tried to break the rule of law, as congressman Guido Bellido stated days ago.

Regarding the arrest of Castillo Terrones for the alleged crime of rebellion, the lawyer said that no criminal offense has been committed, but only a violation of the constitution.

It should be noted that Castillo Terrones is under arrest for the crime of rebellion for having attempted to carry out a coup.
