The report from the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reveals that there are 404,293,993 accumulated cases of Covid-19 in the world, as well as 322,046,630 recovered and 5,798,313 deaths for a lethality of 1.4%.
In Panama, the accumulated cases of Covid-19 amount to 737,659, of which 2,424 are new cases. In the last hours, 11 deaths have been reported for a cumulative of 7,909 deaths and a lethality of 1.1%.
The number of recovered people amounted to 698,027 people, of which 3,211 are reported as newly recovered. The number of tests applied was 12,701 for a positivity of 19%.
Active cases total 31,723, of which 31,162 are in home isolation and 561 in the ward.
Those in isolation are divided into 31,044 at home and 118 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 487 in the ward and 74 in the ICU.
