The National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) began sending emails to inform citizens where they will vote in the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections that will take place on October 2.
Officially, the electoral body began sending the first emails on Monday, August 15, to people who used the “Choose your polling place” platform.
The deadline for voters to choose their polling places expired on June 5 of this year.
The email details the voting location, exact address and district where to vote on Sunday, October 2.
When will I know where I have to vote?
ONPE estimates that it will finish sending the confirmation messages to those who were able to choose their options to vote on its web platform within three days.
After informing all those who made use of “Choose your polling place” and were able to assign one of its three corresponding options, those who used the platform but for various reasons could not be notified, also by email. be assigned to their chosen locations.
Finally, in the next few days, ONPE will enable the option on its website so that everyone can find their polling place through this portal: electoralconsultation.onpe.gob.pe.
This page indicates whether a citizen is a polling station member, specifies the polling station number, and details who are the regular and alternate polling station members at their polling place.
