The other agreement approved during the ordinary session of Parliament refers to the Commemoration of the 165th anniversary of the Battle of Santa Inés, presented by Deputy Orlando Zambrano.
In this regard, it is contemplated to commemorate and pay tribute to the troops of Ezequiel Zamora, who “in the lands of Barinas made the oligarchy bite the dust of defeat.”
Zambrano highlighted that it is evident that the united people are capable of defending themselves against the enemy’s aggression.
“Ezequiel Zamora, who fought against betrayal, who fought to vindicate the spirit of the Liberator Simón Bolívar and raise the flags of Bolivarianism, demonstrated that unity is necessary,” he said.
