The presidential candidate for the alliance of the Realizing Goals and Alliance parties, José Raúl Mulino, took a tour of the Panama Metro, the crowning work of Ricardo Martinelli’s administration, guaranteeing that his government will complete line 3 in record time as expected. did previously and will create new extensions to bring this mass transportation facility to more Panamanians.
Mulino, who visited the El Metro stations in Los Andres, San Miguelito, Vía Fernández de Córdoba and Albrook, reported that line 2 will have an extension to Paso Blanco with a branch to La Siesta, in Panama East and line 3, currently in construction, will be completed quickly, benefiting thousands of people who today waste more than 4 hours a day getting to and from work.
These works will include finishing the tunnel to connect the metro with Arraiján and the four bridges over the Canal as part of the road project structured by the Martinelli government, and which could not be executed in the following two administrations due to lack of will, Mulino said. .
During the route, in approximately one hour, the candidate was able to buy socks, lottery tickets, bread at the different stations in Fernández de Córdoba and end up in Albrook.
“The Panama Metro was a work that changed the lives of many Panamanians during the Martinelli government. And now it is our turn again to bring the Metro to more communities.
