In the case of Mara Lezama, candidate of Morena, PT, PVEM and Fuerza por México for the government of Quintana Roo, she started her campaign with a preference of 42%, according to Buendia & Marquez .
Lezama is followed by Laura Fernández (PAN-PRD-Confidence for Quintana Roo), with 18%; and third place is disputed by José Luis Pech (MC), and Leslie Hendricks (PRI).
The pollster points out that in the measurement of last February, with the exception of Mara Lezama, licensed mayor of Cancun and who has a high name recognition (78%), the other candidates are still unknown to the Quintana Roo electorate.
33% of those interviewed said they knew José Luis Pech and Laura Fernández, and 25% recognized the PRI candidate Leslie Hendricks.
The universal adds that 28% of those surveyed consider that the situation in Quintana Roo – which is going through a wave of violence against tourists – could improve if Mara Lezama were the next governor.
