Coronavirus in Uruguay: 627 new cases, three deaths and 38 patients in ICU

The National Emergency System (Sinae) reported this Monday of the detection of 627 new cases of covid-19. It was from 6,038 analyzes processed on this day, which represents a positivity rate of 10.4%.

The official report also stated the death of three people with a diagnosis of the disease. They are a 95-year-old man and two women, 82 and 83 years of age.

Since March 13, 2020, when the government declared a health emergency, there have been 7,169 deaths. The mortality rate of covid-19 in Uruguay is, so far, 0.8%.

To this Monday there are in the whole country 5,176 active cases, of which 38 they do it in critical care centers.
