The Public Ministry reported that it has verified the cases of a new group of people, related to the acts of violence recorded after the presidential election on July 28, to whom a review of judicial measures was requested.
In a statement, signed by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, and disseminated through social networks, it was reported that between December 26 and 30, a total of 413 reviews of measures to achieve the figure of 1,369 releases granted.

“The Public Ministry informs that within the framework of the permanent case verification process, in coordination with the Judiciary, it has verified a new group of people linked to the acts of post-electoral violence who have been requested to review the measure and who They add to those that have been presented in previous stages.
In that sense, as a result of the most recent day of verification of causes linked to these violent events, a total of 413 reviews of measures were requested and agreed upon from December 26 to December 30, which, added to those processed previously, reach to the figure of 1,369 releases granted to the defendants within the framework of respect and unrestricted observance of the principles and guarantees enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic.
The Public Ministry remains firm in its condition as a party of good faith, objective and impartial, in favor of the defense of peace, justice and human rights.”
