Minutes before, the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, announced that it accepted the irrevocable resignation of Luis Barranzuela as head of the Ministry of the Interior and that “in the next few hours” an oath will be taken of who will replace him.

“Announcement that I have received and accepted the resignation of Interior Minister Luis Barranzuela. In the next few hours, I will take the oath of the person who will succeed him ”, you can read in President Castillo’s publication.
