Santo Domingo.- The prosecutors and attorneys of the 32 provinces of the country will be evaluated in an independent and transparent manner, the Attorney General of the Republic assured today.
Miriam Germán Brito guaranteed that a transparent process will be carried out regarding the performance of those who exercise ownership in the prosecutor’s offices, regional and specialized attorney’s offices, according to considerations of Judge Germán Brito.
The highest representative of the Public Ministry led a dialogue with journalists who cover the judicial area, in which the General Career Directorate of the Public Ministry explained the details for the evaluation of the heads of different prosecutors, regional prosecutors and specialized prosecutors who completed the period of four years for which they were selected.
The evaluation is based on a proposal presented to the Superior Council of the Public Ministry by the General Career Directorate, headed by Thalía Goldberg, who recalled that the process, which began in September, should conclude in 2023.

At the meeting, led by the attorney general and held in one of the halls of the National School of Public ministry (ENMP), in Gazcue, in addition to Goldberg, the Deputy Attorney General Rodolfo Espiñeira, a member of the Superior Council of the Public Ministry (CSMP), was present.
Likewise, the deputy prosecutor Yeni Berenice Reynoso, head of the General Directorate of Persecution of the Public Ministry; the general secretary of the institution, Lilly Acevedo; the technical director of the Attorney General’s Office, Félix María Tena de Sosa; the general administrator, Vilma Pérez, and the institution’s comptroller general, Amisael Félix.
