47 coronavirus infections were registered this Tuesday, October 11, all by community transmission, according to the vice president of the administration of Nicolás Maduro, Delcy Rodríguez.
The entities that reported the most cases were Miranda, Yaracuy, Anzoátegui and Bolívar, with 16,10, six and four each. Meanwhile, the following states reported between two and one case: Aragua, Nueva Esparta and Barinas (two each); Lara, Capital District, Zulia, Amazonas, Carabobo (one).
In the Mirandina region, those infected are located in the municipalities of Simón Bolívar (seven), Independencia (five), Baruta (three), Lander (one).
With this, the total number of covid-19 infections detected since the start of the pandemic in Venezuela, in March 2020, increases to 545,013.

The total number of deaths, meanwhile, remains at 5,818, after no deaths from the disease have been recorded for a week (Tuesday, October 4), according to official data.

“The coronavirus has not gone away and we must reinforce protection to avoid contagion. Biosecurity measures and vaccination continue to be the best tools to deal with the virus. We reiterate the call to maintain special care and not lower our guard », the official Rodríguez wrote on her Twitter account, after sharing the statistics on the behavior of covid-19 in the country.
