The Chamber of Deputies seeks to approve the reform of the law of popular neighborhoods

Deputies seek the socio-urban integration of Barrios Populares.

The Chamber of Deputies will hold a special session this Wednesday from noon to seek to approve the projects that extend and reform Law No. 27,453 on Socio-Urban Integration of Popular Neighborhoods and on the Promotion and Promotion of Technological Innovation, which contemplates tax benefits for new ventures.

The session was requested by the Front of All (FdT), but It is a package of opinions that are agreed between the ruling party and the oppositionas they had a broad agreement when they were discussed in the respective commissions.

One of the main topics will be the project that provides for the reform of the Ownership Regularization Regime Law for Socio-urban Integration, as its official name, which was approved in 2018, and extends for 10 years the suspension of evictions that expire on October 15.

The initiative of the Executive Power, which had an opinion with the support of the FdT, Together for Change (JxC), the Federal interblock, the left and United Provinces, also proposes a declaration of public utility for 1,176 new neighborhoods

The initiative also seeks to strengthen access to public servicesguaranteeing a social rate to be applied in all neighborhoods included in the National Registry of Popular Neighborhoods (ReNaBaP).

On the other hand, the legislative plenary session will debate the draft Law for the Promotion and Promotion of Technological Innovation in order to support investments and technological development in companies in the sector, with the granting of tax incentives.

The text establishes that SME companies may obtain a tax credit certificate of up to 80% (in the first presentation), 65% (in the second presentation) or 50% (from the third presentation) of the eligible expenses made in research, development, innovation and technological modernization (non-operational) to be applied to the payment of national taxes .

Another item on the agenda will be the project that proposes declaring the building where the “Cromañón Republic” establishment operated, in the Balvanera neighborhood of Buenos Aires, to convert it into a space dedicated to memory.

The plenary will also approve another initiative that declares the “Casa Grande” of public utility and expropriation, located in Chacras de Coria, province of Mendoza; the modification of the name of the Traslasierra National Park to that of the Pinas National Park and a reform to the National Sports Law on superior civil and sports associations.

Finally, The approach of the initiative that foresees the obligation to sing the stanzas of the Argentine National Anthem in all international soccer matches in all the stadiums of the country in which First Division teams play is contemplated.
