Minsa promises to solve the air conditioning problem at the Nicolás Solano Hospital

“Concerned about the situation, we have talked with our Technical Team, so that they in turn meet with the legal representatives of the contractor company so that they seek a permanent alternative to the problem of continuity of work or maintenance in the air conditioning system of the operating rooms,” said Ivette Berrío, Vice Minister of Health, after holding a meeting with doctors and technicians from the Nicolás Solano Hospital.

Berrío indicated that the processes in some cases are not so fast and that is why the Superior Office of the Ministry is following up on this issue to resolve this situation as soon as possible.

The vice minister said that as an alternative, the processes of the pending procedures with the companies will be accelerated and conversations have been established with the Medical Directors of the San Miguel Arcángel Hospital and the Santo Tomás Hospital in order to provide support to the Nicolás Solano Hospital.

“By instructions from Minister Sucre, we have come to talk with the doctors, nurses and technical personnel so that they do not stop caring for patients, it is a situation that we are going to resolve, which is why in the next few hours we will meet with the Minister to find a solution as soon as possible,” Berrío concluded.
