Likewise, the political campaign rejected the new attacks announced by donald trump against the nations that make up the BRICS, through a 100% increase in tariffs on products from the members of this emerging bloc, which seeks international cooperation and the end of the criminal hegemony of the dollar.
Giménez said that Trump says that his decision is for the “defense” of the dollar against Latin American, Caribbean and global integration, when in reality what BRICS proposes “is simply what is being done, reducing dependence on this currency, because “We all know that the “strength,” in quotes, strength, of the United States economy is centered on the use of the dollar.”
Finally, the MEP recalled that 22 years ago, the people defeated the national strike that sought to besiege the government of Commander Hugo Chávez Frías and affect the stability of the nation.
