Melanio Paredes says achievements exhibited by the PRM are fictitious

The member of the Political Committee of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Melanie Paredesdescribed this Monday as a “bad copy” the achievements attributed to the government of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM).

The senior political leader considered that the PRM triples government advertising spending to run repetitive ads about “real achievements” exhibited by the PLD.

“It is a bad copy of what was done in the previous government, which effectively announced the achievements in the field with surprise visits or other types of initiatives, they were the ones who questioned economic growth ad nauseam, in the sense that that growth did not spread well-being to the population and today it is its main letter of introduction”, specified the PLD leader in statements reviewed by the Ministry of Communications of the PLD of his intervention in the program Today.

Paredes also highlighted that the rate of indebtedness so questioned in the governments of the PLD now it is tripled by the PRM: “That behavior that the PRM criticized are practicing it to a superlative degree,” he said.

On the other hand, Paredes pointed out that the indicators show that the country has not made progress in terms of Human Rights and citizen security, so that in some way a permanent effort must be made to solve these problems.
