They don’t turn off the electricity, we have water 24 hours a day,” say the two interviewees, who managed to sneak into the Havana Channel report despite the obvious exaggeration or irony of their words.
“They give us plenty of chicken, every day we have chicken, we don’t queue, paint, they are painting everything for us,” they also say.
The report by the journalist Elizabeth Cánova on the opinion of the inhabitants of Marianao regarding the “process of social transformation that is taking place in this locality” presents opinions, all positive, from other residents of the municipality.
Finally, it ends with the interviewees who have focused all the attention and who say to the other Cubans: “Come here, Marianao invites.”
The last week, the official media have published abundant propaganda about the supposed benefits of residing in Marianao, because this territory “won” the venue for the provincial act for the anniversary of July 26.
