María de Lima is getting ready for the 2024 elections by participating in the list that was made up of the merger of “Best Country” (integrated in the last election by a group of mayors, Enrique Antía case, and Senator Sergio Botana), and the Space 40 of the Defense Minister, Javier García.
The current member of the Office of Planning and Budget (OPP), as leader of the departmental list 28, met with the councilors of her bench: “Roberto Calvo, Oscar Schnyder, Silvana Orgoroso, Mireya Álvarez, Alejandro Brusco and Fernanda Moleda, that has a national profile”, said De Lima.
He maintained that this 2023 “will be a very interesting year of departmental work, in different areas; we want to promote development, so that the department has more promotion and opportunities”.
The former mayoress of Nueva Helvecia, and current member of the OPP, emphasized that her objective “one, the first, is the Municipality of Colonia. After the internal elections, it will be defined how we will present ourselves in the next electoral instances”.
De Lima clarified that he is not “neither with (Walter Zimmer) nor with (Carlos) Moreira, ours is the Renewal line for Colonia, we have a specific vision in everything that has to do with the decentralization of the department and opportunities for people”.
