During a speech broadcast on VTV, Nicolas Maduro announced the approval of 2.6 billion euros for the rehabilitation of Las Tejerías, in the state of Aragua, after this area suffered a landslide that left serious damage.
President Nicolás Maduro ordered the Minister of Habitat and Housing, Ildemaro Villarroel, to expedite the work to deliver homes to the 1,600 families that are in shelters, as a result of the rainy season. The ruler urged that the structures be delivered in the first quarter of the coming year 2023.
From Barquisimeto, in the state of Lara, he announced that he approved 2,610 million Euros for the reconstruction of Las Tejerías, in the state of Aragua, a town that suffered a landslide that caused more than 50 deaths, at least 400 houses partially affected and others 400 destroyed. He also asked to relocate families from some 174 houses that were affected.

During the speech, broadcast on VTV, he reported the launch of the Safe Rent program, “to protect landlords” and the Creditechos plan, “to access the roof you need.” He indicated that these will be complementary plans of the Housing Mission and New Neighborhood. He said he will provide more details in January.
The announcements were made on the purpose of delivering home number 4 million 300 thousand. He assured that his government will continue the efforts until reaching the goal of housing number 5 million.
