The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro assured that despite the constant attacks by far-right actors “no one will prevent there from being peace in Venezuela.”
In a video welcoming 2025, broadcast this Wednesday through social networks, the president also briefly outlined the actions that his Government has contemplated for this year, among which are the election of a new Legislative Branch, as well as of governors, mayors, legislative and municipal councils, as well as the strengthening of economic growth among other plans.
“We are going for another victorious year of democratic celebration, permanent mobilizations in defense of Peace, consolidation of the country’s economic and social recovery, and work to build our new sustainable model,” he said.
Likewise, he stressed that his Government will fight under any circumstance and will win because 2025 promises to be an “auspicious, blessed and happy” year.
Finally, in the same partner network, Maduro took stock of the achievements of his administration. “This year has been a journey full of challenges and triumphs, we can say that we have achieved an economic recovery. Social projects were strengthened, high-impact international agreements were made for the future of the country. Let us continue with the same determination and spirit that has led us to these achievements!” projection.
