The governor Nicolas Maduro he ordered the security organizations to put an end to the country’s criminal gangs.
“The Bolivarian government’s objective is to have a country free of criminal gangs and guarantee citizen peace,” he said during the award ceremony for officials of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc), on the Day of the Investigator in Crime in Venezuela.
Maduro also insisted on reinforcing and “more identifying” the peace quadrants. He said that this means recording well the statistics of the type of crime that is committed and the map of criminal gangs.
“Criminal gang that arms itself, organizes itself to attack the people, to create criminal problems it has to be fought fiercely until it ends,” he emphasized.
He assured that this was done in the state of Anzoátegui with the criminal organization “el Zorrillo” and with the criminal gang “el Conejo” in the state of Aragua.
Praising the work carried out by the Cicpc, which, in his opinion, is of “highest scientific quality”, Maduro condemned the shooting that took place on Saturday, February 18 in maracaibo (Zulia) that left the balance of one deceased and seven injured.

For the ruler, these events are part of a conspiracy against the country: “They articulate, finance and send criminal gangs to attack the population.” He pointed to suspected Colombian gangs.
At the same time, Maduro lashed out the dissemination of the video of the armed attack and for which there is a group of police officers detained: “They take the video, make it go viral, to create insecurity and terrorism in the Venezuelan mind.”
Regarding the events in the entity, the director of the Cicpc, Douglas Rico, reported that they have identified 95% of the intellectual author of the shooting and assured that it is a citizen who has participated in other criminal acts.

According to the ruler, 22 tons of strategic material have been recovered, while 9,246 files have been sent to the Public Ministry.
Cicpc thanks Maduro
