Parliamentarians must use the Infoleg system to register their presence and enter votes in deliberative sessions.

In the act that determines the maintenance of the remote system, Lira justifies the decision with the intention of reducing risks of contamination by the new coronavirus, at a time when contamination rates remain high, driven by the Ômicron variant.

“This measure aims to reduce the movement of people in the premises of this Legislative House, preserving the health not only of parliamentarians, but also of servers and employees, considering the effects of the pandemic”, says the decision.
