“Let’s take care of ourselves as a family”: Diario Correo and Fundación Romero will deliver masks to readers

In the middle of the third wave generated mainly by the contagion of the omicron variant of COVID-19, it is vital that the Peruvian population continues to protect itself from the virus and the use of masks is essential. For this reason, the Romero Foundation and the Diario Correo will deliver free masks to our readers this Saturday the 12th and the next 19th as part of the “Let’s take care of ourselves together as a family” campaign.

For the purchase of the national edition of Correo newspaper, a mask will be given away for free as part of the important awareness campaign for its use. Fundación Romero once again delivers 2 million KN95 masks through the main newspapers in the country. With this, there will be 4 million masks delivered by the Romero Group since the start of the pandemic in its work to prevent contagion in this third wave.

According to WHO provisions, in areas with community transmission of COVID-19, masks must always be used by the general public in closed places such as stores, workplaces and schools if there is no ventilation that has been evaluated as adequate.
