After a meeting held between transport managers and drivers from the different urban and interurban transport companies in the province of Yauli La Oroya, they have decided to bend to the measure of force which began on Monday at the national level. The measure would also include the blockade in the strategic sector of the Tarma bus stop at kilometer 173 of the Central Highway.

This point is the access to the regions of Huancayo, Huancavelica, Ayacucho, Huánuco and Pasco. The leaders point out that they have decided to bow to the combat measures due above all to the sharp increase in fuels that harm them directly. They have coordinated the location of pickets to close the pass to vehicles that until today can pass through the city, to the province of Jauja.

classes are suspended
For his part, the director of the Ugel has ordered the suspension of school classes in the afternoon hours of the different educational institutions, especially in La Oroya, an area where the protests and pickets are concentrating.
