Víctor Leonel González Hernández, alias Jonaiker Cara Cortada, was killed in the El 70 neighborhood of El Valle
Early this Sunday morning he was killed in the neighborhood 70 from El Valle, Caracas, Víctor Leonel González Hernández, alias Jonaiker Cara Cortada, according to police reports.
At about 4 am on Sunday, a commission from the El Valle Police Coordination Center, attached to the Bolivarian National Police, was patrolling through the Gallo Rojo sector of the El 70 neighborhood, who were attacked by Jonaiker Cara Cortada and his group.
The subjects were in an open-air celebration and when they observed the arrival, the uniformed officers began an exchange of shots where Jonaiker Scarface fell dejected. His followers continued shooting and wounded three people from the party, one of whom died.
Jonaiker Scarface was the person who replaced Leonardo Jose Polanco Angulo (Crazy Leo), killed in August 2021 in Parque Caiza. The subject was found encased in that place after Operation Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro I evicted the criminal structure that operated there from Cota 905. Loco Leo and other gang leaders from the southwest of Caracas had formed an alliance with those of Cota 905, whose purpose was to open a safe route for drug trafficking from Colombia, according to investigations.
Jonaiker Cara Cortada, successor to Crazy Leo, presented records for illicit possession of narcotics, psychotropic substances, a mixture of pharmaceutical specialty salts, chemical substances, intentional homicide, generic theft.
At the scene of the incident, the police officers collected a Glock pistol.
