Regarding the sentence of 21 years, the lawyer said that this increase in sentence is because the artist was also convicted of the crime of rape.

For his part, his colleague Yorry Warton reiterated that the minimum sentence for an aggressor as a spouse, ex-spouse, cohabitant or ex-cohabitant is “20 years and a maximum of 26 years of imprisonment.” Likewise, she pointed out that the artist’s legal situation is quite complicated and that he will have to show evidence to prove his innocence in the next judicial instance.
