He Uruguayan Institute of Meteorology (Inumet) issued a yellow alert for “persistence of rain” in the center and southeast of the national territory.
According to the agency, it is an “atmospheric disturbance” that “it affects the country by generating rainfall, some punctually intense in short periods”.
In the affected areas you will be able to see “Isolated storms accompanied by occasional hail, intense electrical activity, and strong gusts of wind.”
The alert will be updated at 18:30or before “significant changes”.
