Detective Alexander Jesús Díaz Torres (29) died in a clinic where he was taken on Tuesday from the Domingo Luciani hospital, where he had been hospitalized since January 30, when he was injured during a confrontation with criminal groups operating in Petare.
The director of the Cicpc reported through his social networks that Díaz Torres was attached to the Eastern Homicide Coordination and participated “in a legal intervention that occurred in Petare, in which a dangerous criminal died.”
Rico considers the detective’s death unfortunate, for which he extended words of condolences to his relatives. “Rest in peace Guerrero,” wrote the chief of the scientific police.
