Argentine inflation for 2022 was 94.8%, as reported on Thursday by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (Indec) that published the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for December. In that month, the variation was 5.1%.

In this way, last year’s accumulated inflation was the highest since 1990, when it stood at 1,343.9%, and substantially above the 57.7% that the previous economic management, led by Martín Guzmán, had calculated for the 2022 Budget.
