For the second consecutive year, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) received from Ministry of Public Administration (MAP) a 99% compliance score on the annual assessment of the Letter of Commitment to the Citizen of the institution, corresponding to the period December 2021 – November 2022.
The program Letter of Commitment to the Citizen It is a strategy developed by the MAP with the objective of improving the quality of the services provided to the citizen, guaranteeing transparency in management and strengthening trust between the citizen and the State.

The MICM reported that this rating is the result of the commitment to quality and certification in the Rules ISO 9001:201, together with continuous work for excellence and institutional strengthening.
The evaluation covered the web portal, one-stop portal, social networks, request report, satisfaction December 2021 – November 2022, line 311 and the report of complaints and suggestions from the internal platform, spaces and essential documents for monitoring the processes of the quality of the institution.
The evaluation process of the Caryouhe Commitment to the Citizen was led by the Vice Ministry of Public Services of the MAP and its Department of Design and Improvement of Public Services. The audit was chaired by the Management Control Departmentwho is responsible for monitoring the quality attributes and time commitments in the Ministry’s services, specifically in the Vice-Ministries of Domestic Trade and Foreign Trade.

Among the strong points highlighted in the return report received, are the good functioning in each one of the channels of communication and citizen participation enabled. Also the good practices implemented relative to inclusion; excellent command of the subject management system of complaints and suggestions and mastery of the area responsible and mission areas of the Commitment Letter, in terms of monitoring the established commitments in the same.
