The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) forecast for this Monday abundant cloudiness with rain or showers, with electrical activity and eventual gusts of wind, in much of the country.
According to the Inameh report, the convective nuclei can be seen in Zulia, the Andes, Lara, Guárico, south of Anzoátegui, Amazonas, Bolívar and El Esequibo; while the rest of the national territory is observed with partial to cloudy cloudiness.
The agency indicated that these meteorological conditions are due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ZCIT), which is the main rainfall generating system in the country.
