According to the epidemiological report of the Departmental Health Directorate (DDS), in the period from 07/03/2022 to 07/09/2022, 3,119 new cases and 21 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19 were detected in the country.
From the start of the pandemic to 07/09/2022 there are 965,370 cases and 7,373 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19.
The active cases until 07/09/2022 are 2,626. During the week, a total of 24,700 tests were carried out and the percentage of positive cases was 12.6%. As of 07/09/2022, there are 3.9% of ICU beds occupied by COVID-19.
To date, 5 people are hospitalized with positive COVID-19 in the department: 2 in a private provider room, 1 in a private provider CTI, and 2 in a public provider room.
