According to the epidemiological report of the Departmental Health Directorate (DDS), in the period from 09/18/2022 to 09/24/2022, 1,270 new cases and 10 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19 were detected in the country.
From the start of the pandemic to 09/24/2022 there are 985,422 cases and 7,485 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19. The active cases until 09/24/2022 are 1,177.
During the week, a total of 15,108 tests were carried out and the percentage of positive cases was 8.4%.
As of 09/24/2022, there are 1.3% of ICU beds occupied by COVID-19.
To date, 7 people are hospitalized with COVID-19 positives in the department: 2 in a private provider room, 1 in a private provider CTI, and 4 in a public provider room.
