In Santiago they remove the fence promoting PLD candidates

Brigades of the City Hall of Santiago they removed a billboard that promoted the pre-candidates for the presidency of the Republic for the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD).

The political propaganda was posted around the local office of the General Directorate of Customs (DGA) in the sun streetas it passes through the Historic Center of the city.

In the propaganda appear the images of Abel Martínez, mayor Santiago de los Caballeros, and Margarita Cedeño, former vice president. On the fence were also the photographs of Francisco Domínguez Brito, Karen Ricardo, Luis de León and Maritza Hernández.

“It is not allowed to place electoral propaganda as established by municipal regulations and provisions,” the council wrote on its Twitter account.

The message on the social account of the municipal authorities adds: “As a local authority, we take our responsibility seriously and proceed accordingly. Without consideration or favoritism: we comply!”
