From the streets of Santa Ana, capital of the Gómez municipality, in the Nueva Esparta state, leaders and militants of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), marched to express their rejection of the recent actions of the US government against Venezuela.
The march was led by the deputy to the National Assembly, Giusseppe Alessandrello, who is also the Territorial Link of the PSUV in the state of Nueva Esparta, together with the deputies Roberto Mesutti and Junior Gómez, the Bolivarian mayors, legislators, councilors, heads of UBCH, community and street, and all the militancy.
“Here we are all united as a great force to demand that the entire world respect this homeland. How many attacks has the right wing, supported by the United States, committed against Venezuela to put an end to the Bolivarian Revolution, but they have not been able to, nor will they be able to, because we are a conscious people, a people that has decided to be free and sovereign and will not bow down to the claims of imperialism”, emphasized Alessandrello.
The national leader of the PSUV listed the various attacks against the Venezuelan homeland and emphasized that there are 923 sanctions against Venezuela. He highlighted the recent dispossession of the Citgo company, an important Venezuelan asset abroad.
“They gave Citgo to an activist from Primero Justicia, who nobody knows. And they also gave him more than 300 million dollars of Venezuelan money that is dammed up in the US. These resources are to continue in their destabilizing plans to end the peace of the Venezuelan people. That is why we demand the cessation of the attacks and express our absolute support for President Nicolás Maduro”, expressed the Territorial Link of the PSUV in Nueva Esparta.
demonstrations of the people
Ernetcelis Hernández, community leader in the Gómez municipality, stressed that the sanctions against Venezuela have caused anguish and suffering in the town.
“From Margarita, the first independent province of Venezuela, we tell you, President Nicolás Maduro, have men and women heirs of the Guaiquerí warriors and our independence heroes, that we are willing to defend our Homeland, that Bolívar left us and that it belongs to you. to our children and our grandchildren,” Hernández said.
José Moya, councilor of the Marcano municipality, stressed that the neo-Spartan people are aware of all the actions carried out by the world right to put an end to the model of the Bolivarian Revolution. He emphasized that the recent “robbery” of Citgo is another example of the “anxiety of wanting to keep the resources of our Homeland,”
