The Bolivarian Armed Forces, specifically the CZGNB-62 command located in the state of Bolívar – after ground patrol operations – located and dismantled a camp or bando located in the Santa Rosa sector, at kilometer 90-98 on the railway line of the Ferrominera del Orinoco company, in the Bolivarian municipality of Angostura.
The site was used for the extraction of strategic material and railway rails. Seven citizens were arrested at the scene, who will have to explain to the authorities the reason for their stay in that Bolivarian sector.
During the procedure, 97 metal bars of railway rails measuring 2 meters long each weighing approximately 5,800 kilograms were seized, as well as three oxy-fuel cutting equipment, two oxygen cylinders and an electric generator.
Likewise, two 16-gauge shotguns, a 12-gauge shotgun, two 12-gauge cartridges, four portable radio transmitters, as well as a truck-type vehicle, another sedan-type vehicle, and a motorcycle were seized.
Command in deployment
It should be noted that the CZGNB-62 Command has been actively deployed since October 25 of last year throughout the state of Bolívar to tour the streets, avenues, communities, shopping centers and public places, with which crime rates have decreased in the region.
The deployment has been led by G/D Miguel Yilales Arteaga, commander of Zodi No. 62, in the company of G/D Jesús Andrés Arteaga Simancas, general director of the Bolívar State Police (PEB), and the G/B Rafael Hernández Aguirre, commander of CZGNB-62, which makes up the urban security of the entire Bolívar state.
