LA ROMANA.- A young man died last night after disobeying the train’s stop signal and colliding his motorcycle with a locomotive from the Central Romana sugar company.
The victim was identified as Oscar Aneury Rodríguez, 28, who died when his motorcycle crashed into the locomotive on Padre Abreu Avenue.
According to witnesses, Rodríguez ignored the sound and the stop sign that warns that the sugarcane train is approaching and the motorcycle he was driving collided with the locomotive.
Several onlookers crowded the scene waiting for the relief agencies.
