Six years after the departure of Mons. Roberto Cáceres
Yesterday, Monday marked six years since the death of Monsignor Roberto Cáceres, a man of faith who dedicated his life to the service of God and the community.
Bishop Cáceres lived fully the words of Jesus: “You are the light of the world; Let your light shine before men.” His legacy as a spiritual and human guide continues to illuminate those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Last conciliar father of the Second Vatican Council and key figure in the history of the Church in Uruguay, Mons. Cáceres was a faithful witness of his time and an example of humility and dedication. Today we remember him with prayer and gratitude for his invaluable contribution to faith and society.
