Huancayo: Public transport must respect school tickets and with the same 100% capacity

A little less than two months before face-to-face and semi-face-to-face classes resume, details must be finalized such as respecting the capacity allowed in public transport vehicles, rates established in the M2 (rural vans) and M3 (mass), as well as special authorizations for the exclusive transport of schoolchildren.

The first issues that were put on the agenda in the Work Committees for the “Good return to school 2022”, is about the capacity allowed in public transport vehicles, in the last meeting, it was detailed that these must continue with the current regulations respecting 100% capacity equivalent to the number of seats assigned on the property card and respecting the school ticket rate.

From the Regional Directorate of Transport and Communications (DRTC) Junín, they reported that some 3 thousand units dedicated to school mobility are getting ready for the restart of classes, however the requirements and guidelines have not yet been published.

For her part, the manager of Transit and Transportation of the MPH, María Canchari, reported that a meeting would be held with the carriers to determine the service.
