Around 30 houses affected, one It was the result of an explosion that occurred around 11:00 on Sunday night, in the Ocopilla sector (Razuri and Húsares de Junín streets) in the center of Huancayo. Personnel from the National Police, Serenazgo de Huancayo and two ambulances have arrived in the area. It was learned that the epicenter of the explosion would be a warehouse for products used to make pyrotechnics.

According to information from the Fire Company No. 30 of Huancayo, A 16-year-old adolescent identified with the initials PSS was found with injuries to his face from burns and glass impacts and was taken to the Carrión de Huancayo hospital, where he ceased to exist. Two people identified as Pablo Yarin Centeno (46) with facial injuries and Leo H. de la C. (17) with cuts on his arm also receive medical treatment

Apparently the owners of the house were not in the house that has been destroyed and only the columns remained standing. The rest of the affected homes show damage to the doors and windows, the glass has been scattered on the ground, the explosion was felt several blocks around and a dense smoke was visualized from afar.

Colonel PNP Cesar Ramos indicated that the place would be a clandestine place and the causes of the explosion are being investigated.
