The state-owned company Hidrocapital reported on Tuesday, November 8 in its social networks that a new fault was detected in the Tuy II System, for which they indicated that the water supply is affected because they must interrupt the supply to address the fault that was evidenced.
However, the brief statement does not indicate where the failure occurred in the Tuy II System. However, Hidrocapital stated its intention to work as quickly as possible to restore the operation of the aforementioned aqueduct.
This failure in the Tuy II System directly affected six parishes in the Libertador Municipality, especially in sectors such as Alta Florida, Ávila upper and lower parts; Chapellín, upper and lower part of the Country Club; The Countryside, The Hill, Mariperez; in the parish El Recreo.
Sectors of the Altagracia parish, La Candelaria, Cathedral, San Bernardino and La Pastora.

In the state of Miranda, on the other hand, sectors such as the La Carlota Air Base, lower part of Altamira; Bello Campo, Campo Alegre, CCCT, Los Palos Grandes in its lower part, the town of Chacao and La Floresta in the municipality of Chacao and Las Mercedes Este, Chuao, Caurimare; upper part of El Cafetal, Santa Paula and Vizcaya of the Baruta municipality.

In SeptemberHidrocapital reported that a fault was recorded at station number 21 of the Tuy II System, specifically in the second group of the aforementioned facility, which damaged the supply of drinking water in various sectors of the Libertador, Chacao, Sucre and Baruta municipalities.
