The 1st Control Court of Anzoátegui decreed a 20-year prison sentence against Yotser Alberto Barrera (28), after admitting his responsibility in the femicide of Dariana Alejandra Guzmán Jansasoy (26), an event that occurred on April 14 in the Santa Hedwig of Barcelona, Anzoátegui state.
The information was disclosed by the Public Ministry on its website from where it was reported that on that day, the victim was on her way to her home, located in the San Cristóbal parish, Barcelona, when she was intercepted by her ex-partner, who with a knife He received several wounds on his body.
After the fact, neighbors transferred the woman to the Doctor Luis Razetti hospital in Barcelona, where she died.
After the event, Polianzoátegui officials received a complaint stating that Barrera had injured a woman. Based on this, the subject was captured and processed. Barrera will serve his sentence in the Agroproductive Detention Center in Barcelona.
