The city hall of Rio informed on Monday night (15), by means of a note, that the Municipal Company of Informatics and Planning (IplanRio) continues working to normalize the Datacenter system that suffered an action hacker this morning.Hacker attack leaves Rio's city hall services down

As a preventive measure, the city hall portal and Carioca Digital, as well as all its services, were taken offline to preserve the data. The Taxi Rio service was also affected, from an early age, leaving hemodialysis patients and other treatments that depend on the service without having a way to go to health units.

The main services provided to the population at the São Sebastião Administrative Center, in Cidade Nova, were also off the air and unable to serve the public.

“The city government asks for the understanding of cariocas and emphasizes that Iplan servers are working to minimize the impact and make the system return to normal as soon as possible”, informed the city hall.
