Vice President Delcy Rodríguez said that Venezuela seeks to adapt academic profiles to the national needs in terms of hydrocarbons and mining. He assured that the State also plans to promote the relationship between study centers and these strategic sectors.

He pointed out that the main objective is to train “young people who today begin their first steps in technical and university and post-university, specialization and doctoral careers, and how we integrate them into the productive developments of hydrocarbons and mining,” he expressed.

During a meeting with authorities from the university sector, he explained that “strategic lines” were evaluated in order to “enhance the linkage of the areas of study and disciplines of knowledge with the development of the national oil and gas industry,” as well as to “certify “knowledge” of its workers.
