The national government is fine-tuning the details for the swearing-in ceremony of President Nicolás Maduro, as was known on the digital profiles of the Vice Presidency of the Republic, who detailed the details of a meeting headed by the vice president, Delcy Rodríguez.
The swearing-in of the President will take place on January 10, an event that will take place before the members of the National Assembly (AN), and will be accompanied “by mobilizations and cultural demonstrations,” the press release indicated.
The authorities highlighted that the swearing-in ratifies “the decision of the Venezuelan people who, with their vote on July 28, 2024, reaffirmed their commitment to sovereignty and the right to self-determination.”
Vice President Rodríguez emphasized the importance of preserving peace and stability, pointing out that “the acts that will have the Popular Power as the protagonist are a collective effort to guarantee a future of tranquility for Venezuela.”
