Government and parties in Hidalgo commit to comply with election rules 2022

Governor Omar Fayad, emanating from the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), guaranteed that his government will respect the role required by law and the Constitution.

He said that he will remain “on the sidelines” of the contests, except for what the law establishes. “This is how we will have to fulfill it!” exclaimed the PRI.

Hidalgo is the first of the six states that will hold elections on June 5 and with which the INE and the TEPJF will sign the respective agreements. In that entity, as well as in Aguascalientes, Durango, Oaxaca, Tamaulipas and Quintana Roo, the electoral campaigns begin on April 3.
